Member's Meeting Your voice has been heard! IDC-Oregon presented the results of our state wide survey and a mid-year report to the IDC-Oregon membership on May 11th. We discussed strategies and next steps as well as called for volunteers. The survey, "A Title or Practice: You Decide" was a culmination of three Town Halls hosted throughout the year which presented a Draft Title and Practice Act. The survey reached over 500 people, including allies and opposition. 176 responded and the results were overwhelming: Practice Act. Afterwards, the IDC-Oregon board had its monthly board meeting and voted on the direction of proposed legislation. IDC-Oregon will be pursuing a Practice Act for the Interior Design profession in the State of Oregon during the 2011 legislative session. Our next event will be the annual meeting scheduled in July.
