Education

Beginning a career as a Registered Interior Design Professional starts with attending an educational program that is comprehensive in delivering a knowledge base in theory, history, psychology, construction practices, mathematics, design, and building codes. This assures that interior designers have a good foundation of skill to build onto throughout their careers. Becoming a Registered Interior Designer requires either a minimum of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or a combination of a Certificate degree and 5 years professional experience.
